PURPOSE:To reduce the gap between records, by storing at a time all information of a track into a storage circuit and realize reading and retrieving and writing of data in the state free from the data transfer speed from a medium. CONSTITUTION:The record data reading signal supplied from a microprocessor MPU4 is applied to a read/write control circuit 3, and an index mark signal 31 sent from a medium of a magnetic disk storage device 7 is detected. Then clocks 34 and 35 to a storage circuit 1 and an address register 2 are delivered while a detection is given between the signals 31. The data D1, D3... given from a reading medium of the device 7 are stored in the circuit 1 by an amount equivalent to a track with the clock 34. At the same time, the contents of an optional address of the circuit 1 is delivered to a data output line 13 by the output 21 of a register 3 that supplied the clock 35. Thus a retriving action is carried out. On the other hand, the address of the data to be written by the MPU4 is set to the register 2 through an address designation line 41 and then stored in the circuit 1 through a data information line 12.
