Abstract
The present invention relates to a device (100) for profiling and identifying a sample of an amino acid. The device (100) profiles the amino acid based on its electronic properties, wherein the electronic properties refer to electronic parameters of a Schottky diode formed by the amino acid. The device (100) comprises of a first electrode (110) and a second electrode (120) disposed on a substrate (130), and a source measure unit (140).
