Abstract

A multi recipe, gravimetric, batch dosing system comprising a hopper stage containing a plurality of raw substance materials and fitted with feeding units adapted for dispensing measured quantities of the raw materials, a weighing stage bellow the hopper stage for receiving and weighing the measured quantities of raw material, and a mixing stage bellow the weighing stage for mixing and dispensing batches of raw material; the weighing stage and the mixing stage each comprising a plurality of cells, each for handling a single recipe, the arrangement being such that at least one of the weighing stage and the mixing stage is rotatable by a drive mechanism.
