The equilibrium state of pot temperature is preset by a temperature equilibrium setting element (153), and the equilibrium time is measured by a timer (151). During rapid cooking, the heating capacity and the amount of rice are detected by the detecting portion (149) and corresponding cooking control proceeds according to the detected condition.
