Be it known that I, CHARLES A. PARKER a citizen of the United States, residing at Reno, in the county of Washoe and State of Nevada, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Umbrellas, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact specification.

This invention relates to umbrellas and has for its object the provision vof an umbrella so constructedthat it will extend over the shoulders and body of the person carrying it and give thorough protection against inclement weather.

A further object of the invention is to provide an umbrella which will have less spread than the umbrellas now in common use while affording greater protection to the person.

The invention is fully illustrated in the accompanying drawings and will be herein fully described,the novel features being subsequently particularly pointed out in the appended claims.
