WALTER OAMPBELL, OF CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY.
IMPROVEMENT IN MEDICAL COMPOUNDS'FOR THE CURE 0F FEVER AND AGUE.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent bio-132,629, dated October 29, 1872.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WALTER CAMPBELL, of Camden, in the county of Camden and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and valuable Medical Compound, a Remedy for Fever and Ague; and 1 do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same.
The ingredients which make up my improved compound, which I call The Fever and Ague Conqueror, are as follows and in the proportions named: Thirty drops spirits nitre, forty drops turpentine, thirty drops vitriol, four drams red pepper, four drams sulphur, one quart rye whisky.
This compound is a reliable cure for the fever and ague, and may be used with benefit in the treatment of other complaints.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The compound, composed substantially of the ingredients herein named, for the purpose set forth.
In testimony that I claim the above I have hereunto subscribed my name in the presence of two witnesses.
