To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, WILL Ynnenn, a citizen of the United States, residing at est Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented new and useful Improvements in Sleeve Protectors, of which the following is a speciiication.

This invention relates to sleeve protectors and its principal object is to provide an adjustable sleeve protector which may be adjusted to fit snugly about the forearm of any person and to extend above the elbow.

The invention also contemplates a sleeve protector which is formed from a non-breakable flexible material that will always fit snugly about the arm and yet permit a certain amount of freedom so that the arm movements will not be interfered with while in the act of working.

The invention has also for one of its objccts the provision of a sleeve protector which may be manufactured from any material possessing the necessary strength and which will so fit the arm as to eliminate any protruding or outstanding parts which would be likely to be caught in a machine and hence endanger the life of the person wearing the protector.

With the preceding and other objects and advantages in mind, the invention consists in the novel combination of elements, construction and arrangement of parts and operations to be hereinafter specifically referred to, claimed and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:

Referring to the drawings in detail wherein like characters of reference denote corresponding parts throughout the several views, the numeral ojdesignates a sheet of flexible material such as rubberized linen or any other material possessing the necessary tenacity. This sheet or blank 5 has its marginal edges fashioned into substantially V- 7 are provided with a series of spaced female fastenings 10 which are in thenature of eyelets and provided with sockets 11 upon opposite faces. A male fastening is indicated at 12 and is carried by the free ends of the strips 7 and is provided with oppositely projecting heads 13. By the provision of this type of fastening it will be observed that the protector may be used upon either left. or right arm.

In use the sheet or blank 5 is extended around the arm and the bands 7 engaged about the wrist and upper part of the arm just above the elbow and adjusted to snug- 7O 1y embrace the latter.

From the disclosure it will be apparent that I have provided a sleeve protector which can be adjusted to arms of various sizes and which may be constantly worn without any danger of breaking or tearing the same. lutoreover, the device will eliminate any projecting or outstanding parts which are likely to become caught in a machine and thus endanger the persons life. Also with the device constructed from rub berized linen as herein set forth, the same may be washed and hence kept in a sani tary neat condition at all times.

While I have shown and described the preferred embodiment of the invention, I desire to have it understood that such changes may be made in the form, construe tion, arrangement of parts and operations, 96
