To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, PHIL() R. WAGOR, of Rockport, in the county of Atchison and State of Missouri, have invented a new and Improved Arm-Rest, of which the foilowing is a specitication Figure l is a side elevation of nay/improved arm-rest. Fig. 2 is a top view of the device for fastening the rest to a table.

My invention relates to a novel device to be attached to a desk or table for supporting the arm while writing.

The invention will rst be fully described in connection with the drawing, and then pointed out in the claim.

In the drawing, D is a support for the stand'- ard B, which consists of an arin, E, provided with a sleeve, b', for receiving the standard B, and with aset-serew, c', for binding the same, the said arm being jointed to axed arm, F,

projecting from a plate, G, which is screwed to the table.

The arm-rest is adjusted tothe requiredheight to suit books of different thickness, and in lworking ou large sheets of'paper or maps covering the whole desk, it is used to widen the desk, thus making it convenient to Write on the extreme lower edge of the sheet..

It also can be used with equal advantage in any position the writer may assume.
