DESIGN FOR A CANE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,009, dated November 22, 1892.

Application filed October 7, 1892- Serial No. 448,151. Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, THOMAS W. GARDNER, a. a citizen of the United States, residing at Indianapolis, in the county of Marion and State of Indiana, have invented and produced acertain new and original Design for Canes, of which the following is a specification.

The leading feature of my design consists in the representation of a monument formed in relief within a panel, as shown.

In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is an elevation of a cane-head embodying my design, in which the portion marked A represents the monument, and B the panel, the

border of which is shown as plain with a 15 rounded top; and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of a cane-head having a crook with my design thereon at the left.

What I claim is- The design for a cane, substantially as 20 shown.
