DESIGN FOR A SNOW-GUARD.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,655, dated May 17, 1898.

Application filed March 17, 1898. Serial No. 674,263. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that 1, GEORGE F. FoLsoM, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Boston, eountyof Suffollgand Commonwealth of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Snow- Guard, of which the following is a specification.

The drawing shows in perspective a snowguard, illustrating my design.

The leadingfeatureof my design for a snowguard consists in a straight shank bent upon itself to form an inverted U and then oppositely bowed to present two loops laterally extended from the shank, the connection between the loops passing through the U.

In the drawing the straight shank a is bent upon itself at one end in U form at a and then oppositely bowed to present two loops a (1 extended laterally from the shank, the bowed portion being substantially like the numeral 8 upon its side, with the connection between the loops passing through the U.

Having fully described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a snow-guard, substantially as herein shown and described.
