At NTNU, we encourage you to report any unwanted incidents or if something is not working as it should. By doing so, you help make NTNU a safe place for students and staff.
Defects or deficiencies in buildings and rooms are reported to "e-vaktmester".
For example
- ventilation
- cleaning
- illumination

If you come across something that you believe is a violation of information security and privacy, you have a duty to report the deviation and thereby make NTNU aware of the matter.
Examples include
- emails and attachments sent to the wrong recipient
- unauthorized access
- disclosure or publication of information to individuals who should not have the information
- lack of routines
Deviations in information security and privacy occur when the processing of information or personal data does not comply with laws, regulations, or internal guidelines at NTNU.

Report any incidents or conditions that have or could have caused harm to people, property, or the external environment. You can also suggest improvements if you think we could have done something in a better and safer way.
Examples include
- injuries and spills involving chemicals
- fire or fire hazards
- obstacles in and blocked escape routes
- unacceptable behaviour
- personal injury and work-related illness
Do not provide names or other personal information if the incident involves individuals.

As an employee, you contribute to the quality of education by participating in the evaluation and development of courses and programmes, and by reporting any deficiencies in the quality of studies.

If the procedures in the quality system are not followed, this should first be addressed with the department or faculty responsible for the work. If this does not lead to a resolution, you can report deviations from the quality system.
