Two other men appeared in court accused of using Mr Scott's bank cards to withdraw money on Saturday.

His family said attempts to use his bank cards were made the day after he died and fear others were involved before his death.

He is charged with false imprisonment, common assault and the theft of the same woman's keys and bank card in January 2025.

He reportedly had not used his phones or bank cards since 6 December and failed to attend a court hearing three days later that ruled he be remanded in custody before trial.

Lawrence, who handed himself in to police, was remanded in custody, where he confessed his crime to an inmate and revealed he had also taken Mr Moult's bank card but an attempted transaction had failed.
