A San Diego woman has taken legal action against actor and comedian Faizon Love, suing him for assault and battery stemming from a hotel check-in gone awry.

Many budget hotels also have self-service kiosks rather than manned reception desks, allowing perpetrators to check-in with young people without any questions being asked, police chiefs say.

The only way to make this work was to get a hotel room as a home base, but most hotels have check-in after 3 p.m. and check-out by noon.

After a quick check-in with the specialist the following week, she received a bill she thought was “completely outrageous,” so she never paid it.
