According to the indictment, from October 2019 to February 2023, Elliott — representing himself as working in the San Bernardino city government and being involved with the police department — defrauded several longtime friends.

Bankman-Fried was sentenced to 25 years in prison last March for defrauding customers on his crpyto exchange to the tune of billions of dollars.

The official court record is sealed, but in a statement authorities alleged he conspired to defraud two investor funds.

He went on an extended rant falsely accusing millions of recipients of defrauding the government, claiming that the system shows millions of people over 110 years old are drawing checks.

The suit alleges that the foreclosure “was part of a sham to defraud creditors” and did not disrupt business operations.
