refreshful

Farewell to all my friends, whose company hath been refreshful to me in my pilgrimage.

The Lord's countenance, on face, is a refreshful sweet manifestation of himself to a soul, it is the Lord using familiarity with a spirit, and this made David more glad than corn and wine.

How different our smaller trials look, when they are seen from the distance of a quiet and refreshful rest.

They may seem to be as much forgotten as the drops of rain which fall into the barren sea, but each rain-drop adds to the volume of refreshful and purifying waters.
