A waterfall and swimmable creek nestled in a shady canyon is a Southern California unicorn.

Norwegian media reported an avalanche fell while the men scaled a frozen waterfall at Gaustatoppen mountain on Friday.

The first was located behind a waterfall, and it is thought to have flooded as a result.

"We got a violent knocking on the door. As I opened the door, it sounded like I was in a waterfall because the sinkhole was right in front of my doorstep," she said.
