Nalini Singh
“He couldn’t say the words, had spent too long in Silence, but he’d learned other ways to speak. Taking the paperweight she’d knocked off her desk out of his pocket, he put it in her hands. “It’s fixed. As long as you don’t mind more than a few scars.”
Nalini Singh, Kiss of Snow

John Green
“The way young people speak about one another's bodies says a great deal about our society. In today's world, boys are much more likely to objectify girl's bodies than the other way around. Boys will say amongst themselves that so-and-so has a nice rack, while girls will more likely say that a boy is cute, a term that describes both physical and emotional characteristics. This has the effect of turning girls into mere objects, while boys are seen by girls as whole people-"

And then Lara stood up, and in her delicate, innocent accent, cut Dr. William Morse off.

"You're so hot! I weesh you'd shut up and take off your clothes."

The students laughed, but all of the teachers turned around and looked at her, stunned silent. She sat down.

"What's you name, dear?"
"Lara,"she said.
"Now, Lara." Maxx said, looking down at his paper to remember the line, "what we have here is a very interesting case study- a female objectifying me, a male. It's so unusual that I can only assume you're making an attempt at humor."

Lara stood up again and shouted, "I'm not keeding! Take off your clothes."

He nervously looked down at the paper, and then looked up at all of us, smiling.

"Well, it is certainly important to subvert the patriarchal paradigm , and I suppose this is a way. All right, then.”
John Green, Looking for Alaska

“I'm fine Aren."

"I know you are. And I know you can do it yourself. But let me do it for you anyway.”

“Since Sienna was in an unusually cooperative mood, the session went well. He was returning from it midmorning - after a short detour - when a small naked body barreled into him in one of the main corridors. Steadying the boy with Tk, he looked down. The child lifted a finger to his lips. "Shh. I'm hiding." With that, he went behind Judd and scrambled into a small alcove. "Quickly!
Not sure why he obeyed the order, Judd backed up to stand in front of the alcove, arms crossed.

A flustered Lara came running around the corner a few seconds later. "Have you seen Ben? Four-year-old. Naked as a jaybird?"

"How tall is he?" Judd asked in his most overbearing Psy manner.

Lara stared. "He's four. How tall do you think he is? Have you seen him or not?"

"Let me think...did you say he was naked?"

"He was about to be bathed. Slippery little monkey."

A giggle from behind Judd.

Lara's eyes widened and then her lips twitched. "So you haven't seen him?"

"Without a proper description, I can't be sure."

The healer was obviously trying not to laugh. "You shouldn't encourage him - he's incorrigible as it is."

Judd felt childish hands on his left calf and then Ben poked his head out. "I'm incorwigeable, did ya hear?"

Judd nodded. "I do believe you've been found. Why don't you go have your bath?"

"Come on, munchkin." Lara held out a hand.

Surprisingly strong baby arms and legs wrapped around Judd's leg. "No. I wanna stay with Uncle Judd."

Lara anticipated his question. "Ben spends a lot of time with Marlee."

"I spend a lot of time with Marlee," a small voice piped up.”

“Coming to stand by her husband's side, Lara touched his arm tentatively."My lord," she said gratefully. "Thank you for protecting my sister. Thank you."

He shot her a gaze of hot black intensity. "Thank me in bed," he said, barely audible.

Lara stared at him, startled. "Now?" she whispered, feeling her cheeks prickle with heat. Hunter didn't reply, only continued to stare at her in that alarming way.”

“When she awakened, Hunter was watching her with eyes like dark velvet.

"You're the last woman I'll ever make love to," he said, stroking her breast, toying with the rosy peak. She stroked his sun-streaked hair and the hard nape of his neck, loving the feel of him against her.

"Good," she whispered.

"Keep me with you, Lara. I don't want to leave you.”

“I‘ll be gentle." Solemn words that made him want to smile. "I know you‘re a virgin. Psy don‘t have sex do they?"
"No." Intimate touch was forbidden in the PsyNet. "But I think I have the concept figured out.”
Nalini Singh, Kiss of Snow

Boris Pasternak
“She was incomparable in her inspired loveliness. Her arms amazed one, as one can be astonished by a lofty way of thinking. Her shadow on the wallpaper of the hotel room seemed the silhouette of her uncorruption.”
Boris Pasternak, Doctor Zhivago

“This is your punishment, Lara," he whispered. "To burn as I do."

Lord Byron
“Too high for common selfishness , he could
At times resign his own for others' good,
But not in pity - not because he ought,
But in some strange perversity of thought,
That swayed him onward with a secred pride
To do what few or none could do beside;
And this same impulse would, in tempting time,
Mislead his spirit equally to crime;
So much he soared beyond, or sank beneath,
The men with whom he felt condemned to breathe
And longed by good or ill to seperate
Himself from all who shared his mortal fate.”
Lord Byron

Kelley Armstrong
“My fourteen-year-old sister Lara is a brat. Unfortunately, no one sees it but me. To everyone else, she’s adorable. She’s tiny and blonde and sweet and as helpless as a kitten. Chloe reminded me of Lara, at first. The difference, as I discovered, is that Chloe really is as sweet as she seems and she isn’t as helpless as she looks.”
Kelley Armstrong, Disenchanted

“Akan tiba nanti

Dirimu menjadi prioritas dihidupku

Zakiyahdini Hanifah
