Since assuming his role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency, Musk, 53, has been working out of an office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. The EEOB, which houses various agencies within the Executive Office of the President, is part of the White House compound and is situated directly across from the West Wing. The source notes that the EEOB has "great amenities, including a cafeteria and bowling alley," and says sleeping where you work is not entirely unheard of in Washington, sharing how some House members "sleep in their offices and shower in the House gym." X Æ A-Xii notably appeared beside Musk and Trump at an Oval Office press conference on Tuesday, Feb. 11, making faces to reporters and grabbing at his father. Other Palm Beach sources have previously told PEOPLE that the Tesla CEO was living at least part-time at Mar-a-Lago between the presidential election and inauguration, as he helped Trump with the White House transition. In a 2018 interview with Gayle King, he said the decision to treat the factory as his primary residence stemmed from him lacking time to go home and shower, and wanting similarly busy employees to feel like he was sticking it out with them.
