The Finnish Ice Hockey Association decided to lower much-protested ticket prices for some Finland games on Sunday. The remaining tickets to the Lions’ games against France and Kazakhstan will be available in packages of four tickets for the total price of 195 or 155 euros, depending on the seating category.

Finnish ice hockey boss Kalervo Kummola said in an interview with the Yle TV programme Arto Nyberg on Sunday evening that the association had miscalculated ticket prices.

Kummola noted that the association was wrong in charging for tickets to Finland’s games against France and Kazakhstan, for instance, on the same level as for those against North American teams.

“Perhaps we have been somewhat blind in pricing all games the same way,” Kummola said.
