Customers of the telecoms operator Sonera suffered disruptions in service late Tuesday morning that were resolved by 12:30 pm.
Sonera, one of Finland's two largest mobile phone operators, reported nationwide problems with its 2G and 3G connections - blocking some text messages and phone calls, including calls to the emergency number 112. The company says its 4G connections was working normally throughout the incident.
Sonera, part of the Nordic TeliaSonera group, has 3.36 million mobile subscribers in Finland.
A couple of weeks ago, its main rival Elisa suffered massive disruptions to its internet services due to a damaged underground cable.
