Prime Minister Sanna Marin's (SDP) government won a confidence vote in Parliament on Friday afternoon by 99 votes to 73, with 27 MPs absent and no abstentions.
The vote was triggered by an interpellation question tabled by the opposition National Coalition Party, Finns Party, Christian Democrats, and Movement Now.
The interpellation argued that government policy had failed to sufficiently support Finland's struggling farmers or react to the growing challenges facing the sector.
Finnish agriculture has long struggled to remain profitable, but Russia's invasion of Ukraine has led to a rise in the prices of fertiliser and electricity, causing further hardship for the sector.
In defence of the government's actions, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Antti Kurvinen (Cen) said various measures had been taken to address the challenges facing the agricultural sector, pointing in particular to the 300 million euro package drawn up last spring.
He added that the government continues to monitor the situation closely.
