Yle's TV parliamentary election coverage on Sunday reached a total of around 2.7 million viewers across Finland, a country with a population of just over 5.5 million people.
On average, around 1.2 million people were watching the coverage over the course of Sunday evening.
There was a peak in viewers at about 9:45pm, when around two million people watched as Yle issued its election prognosis.
The national broadcaster counted around 900,000 plays of Yle's live election coverage video on its streaming platform Areena, website and mobile apps.
Yle's website also saw brisk use by people seeking election results, with around 3.3 visits to the front page of its results service.
Ahead of the election, Yle's election compass, a web-based questionnaire to help voters find suitable candidates among the 2,116 people running for parliament's 200 seats, saw a total of around nine million visits by election day Sunday.
