Switzerland wins Eurovision Song Contest - Finland’s Windows95man places 19th

The Grand Final of Eurovision Song Contest was held in Malmö today. Finnish representative Windows95man placed 19th with his song No Rules. Windows95man earned a total of 38 points in the Grand Final, with the winner earning 591.
A total of 26 countries performed in the Eurovision Grand Final, and each performance was evaluated by the Finnish people and a jury of music industry professionals. Toni Laaksonen gave out Finland’s jury points in the Eurovision broadcast.
Finland’s Eurovision jury group awarded the Finnish jury’s points. In 2024, it consisted of: chair Pekka Ruuska (artist / entrepreneur), Mikko Niemelä (promotor, Ruisrock), Marcus Sjöström (program manager / head of music, NRJ), Kaisa Rönkkö (Director, Arts Promotion Centre Finland), Sanni Kurkisuo (artist).
Contest for New Music UMK25 starts in August
The next season of the Contest for New Music UMK will already kick off this August. The call for song entries will run from 19-25 August 2024.
