Finland's Eurovision point presenter changes

Contrary to prior information, Käärijä will not give the points of Finland's expert jury in the Eurovision final.

Finland's Eurovision representative from last year, Käärijä, aka Jere Pöyhönen, has decided not to give Finland’s points in tonight's Eurovision final. Käärijä announced his decision to Yle this evening. The points will be presented by Radio Suomi's host, Toni Laaksonen.

”I have decided to step back from giving points in tonight's Eurovision. Distributing points in tonight's final does not feel right”, Käärijä commented.

”It’s an unfortunate situation, but we naturally respect Käärijä's decision”, says Ville Vilén, Yle's Director of Creative Content and Media.

Finland's representative is Windows95man. He is the 17th performer of the evening.
