The anime follows an unlikely duo of Momo, a girl who believes in ghosts but not aliens, and Okarun, a boy who believes in aliens but not ghosts. After Momo’s psychic powers activate and Okarun ends up cursed, they get caught up in paranormal mysteries and encroaching danger. And also maybe have crushes on each other and deal with the mortifying ordeal of being a horny teenager.
Dan Da Dan ranked second on Polygon’s list of best anime of 2024. Season 1 left off on a cliffhanger, but thankfully we only have to wait seven months to see what happens next.
Dan Da Dan is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
