Everything you touch turns to gold

With Chapter 6 Season 2 having a heavy emphasis on gold, the Supply Llamas have decided to follow the trend and encase themselves in gold. As part of a Week 3 quest, players will need to search three Golden Llamas, but they’re extremely difficult to find due to their randomness. However, there are a couple ways to make your search a little easier.
Here’s how to find Golden Llamas in Fortnite and complete the Week 3 quest.
How to find Golden Llamas in Fortnite
Golden Llamas spawn in random locations around the map and only three llamas will spawn in a match. Your odds at finding a Golden Llama are fairly low, as there aren’t any guaranteed spawn locations, but there are a few ways to increase your chances of finding one:
- Drive around the map to visit as many locations as possible.
- Use launch pads to glide and spot Golden Llamas from a higher vantage point.
- Get a Rocket Drill, Kneecapper, or Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit to move around the map at a faster pace.
Golden Llamas can be a little hard to spot if you’re not actively looking for them, so make sure to look for the golden glow around the llama to ease your search!
To search a Golden Llama, you can either interact with it or break it using your pickaxe or items, which will spill out all of its rewards onto the floor. After searching a Golden Llama, you’ll receive 1,000 bars, four golden splashes, a lot of ammo, and a chance to receive a Dill Bit.
