Abstract
Apparatus for mixing fluidizable powdery materials comprising a tank or silo for receiving the materials to be mixed, aeration units in the bottom of the tank that are below the materials of the tank to be mixed, said aeration units being arranged in sections contiguous, means for supplying gas separately to the aeration units of each section, means for supplying gas to the aeration units of at least one of said sections, in volume and pressure such that the fluidisation of the fluidizable powdery material is produced. Is above the aeration units of that section, means for simultaneously supplying air to the aeration units of a contiguous section, in volume and pressure such as to aerate, but not to fluidize the powdery fluidisable material that is above the aeration units of such section, and means to make the air supplied to the section where the fluidization takes place is supplied by impulses.
