Abstract
198,181. Standerwick, E. J. B., and Stevenson & Sons, Ltd., H. April 26, 1922. Boxes made from special blanks and with means for displaying advertisement.-A box which can be used for displaying its contents comprises a lid 4 formed with side flanges 6 extending the full depth thereof and bent substantially at right angles thereto and having integral tabs 7 adapted to enter slits 8 in the side of the box to lock the lid in its raised position to display advertising matter printed on the inside thereof. The box is formed from a one-piece blank giving a bordered top 9 and end portions of several thicknesses secured together by folding over flaps 15 extending from the top of the box and having slits 12 through which flaps 11 extending from the bottom 1 are passed.
