Rotary intaglio machines.-Relates to rotary machines for printing from engraved steel plates comprising a oneplate cylinder a coacting with an impression cylinder k and provided with inking, wiping, and polishing devices e, f and i respectively of usual construction, one sheet being fed at each revolution of the cylinder a. The cylinder a carries a plate b extending over an arc of 180‹ and is rotated at a peripheral speed which will allow the wiping and polishing devices the minimum time to function properly, this speed being given as twelve feet per minute. Sheets from a feed table n are carried to the impression point by grippers m on the cylinder k and are delivered by a take-off cylinder o spaced 90‹ in arc from the cylinder k.
