Abstract

271,917. Dawe, G. Sept. 30, 1926. Order apparatus.-A direction signalling device for use on road vehicles comprises a casing 1. Figs. 1 and 3, divided by vertical and horizontal partitions 2 into a number of compartments 4 in which are arranged lamps 5 - - 8 and 12 individually connected to a control switch and battery. A screen or plate 9 with indicating perforations 5<a> - - 8a, Fig. 5, is mounted in front of the lamps an a second screen formed as a mirror is arranged behind the lamps, a portion of the backing thereof being removed to form the word " stop." The lamps are mounted on an opaque partition 13 parallel to the screens the wiring of the lamps being in the cells closed by opaque portions of the screens on that side opposite the lamps.
