Signs, supporting and securing.-A sign of the kind having a curved display surface is fitted with two parallel frame members having spaced grooves 3 for holding flexible celluloid or like strips 7 containing the advertising matter in a bow-shaped or arched formation without other fastening means. Adjacent strips 7 overlap, as shown in Fig. 1. Additional strips 2<1>, Fig. 3, may be mounted behind the main strips for colour effects. In a modified form the spacing of the grooves is adjustable to enable the frame to be used for strips of different widths, and in some cases one of the groove-carrying members may reciprocate to vary the curvature of the strip to produce an expanding and contracting effect on the advertisement as viewed.
