Abstract
370,426. Insulation for dynamo-electric machines. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. Jan. 1, 1931, No. 1375/32. Convention date, Jan. 2, 1930. Divided on 368,443. [Class 35.] In a winding of a high tension machine of the type comprising a number of conductors in a slot covered by insulation which increases in thickness towards the bottom of the slot each conductor is separately insulated and the conductors are combined in groups each of which has an insulating sheath. In the arrangement shown each of the conductors 1 .. 5 is provided with insulation i<1> .. i<5> formed of a U-shaped piece of insulating material, the conductors 4, 5 are enclosed in an insulating sheath c, the conductors 3, 4, 5 in a sheath d, the conductors 2, 3, 4, 5 in a sheath e, and the whole in a sheath f.
