Abstract

433,668. Centrifugal bowls. AKTIEBOLAGET SEPARATOR-NOBEL, 8, Fleminggatan, Stockholm. Sept. 17, 1934, No. 26645. Convention date, Sept. 16, 1933. [Class 23] In a centrifugal bowl provided with outlets g, f, for lighter and heavier separated liquids, means for discharging a still heavier separated liquid comprise two passages j leading from points within the bowl towards the bowl axis, andnozzles &c. n screwed into the bowl wall and extending for some distance into the passages and serving as discharge openings from said passages. The nozzle may have a restricted orifice as at r in Fig. 4, and may be removed by means of a tool inserted through the tube j. In another form, an elongated cup surrounds the nozzle n and communicates with the interior of the bowl.
