Abstract
437,781. Valves. ECKBO, E. J., 6, Kongensgate, Oslo, Norway. Feb. 16, 1935, No. 5114. Convention date, May 11, 1934. [Class 7 (vi)] A rotary valve comprises a sleeve 10 operating between a stationary core 6 and casing 2 so as to control axially staggered inlet ports 4 and exhaust ports 5, which are connected through correspondingly spaced ports in the valve to the cylinder port 3, through recesses 8, 9 formed in the core 6, a cooling-fluid being circulated through the core. The port 3 is wide enough to communicate with both ; or there may be two ports 3 side by side. Also the two recesses 8, 9 may be combined in one.
