Abstract
532,873. Casting confectionery. DANIELS. T. July 20, 1939, No. 21100. [Class 87 (ii)] Relates to the casting of sweetmeat centres preparatory to coating with chocolate, and consists in stretching a rubber skin 6 over perforated moulds 4, removing air through a pipe 9 so that the skin is drawn into the moulds, filling the moulds with fluid material, e.g. cream, nougat or jelly, cooling to bring the material to a semi-solid condition and then allowing air to enter the pipe 9 to allow the skin to eject the cooled centres for subsequent coating. Specification 2412/05, [Class 22], is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 2412/05, [Class 22].
