[Class 122 (v)] A labyrinth shaft packing comprises a set of discs 3 secured to a bush 4 on the shaft and extending between discs 1 carried by a housing member 2 having end walls extending into close proximity with the bush ; the edges of the discs are bent over to constitute spacing members. The spaces between the discs may be filled with hard grease or one of the discs, or the grease, or both, may be replaced by felt packing.
