Abstract

751,134. Forming fibre laps. HOGANASBILLESHOLMS AKTIEBOLAG. March 22, 1954 [March 31, 1953], No. 8322/54. Class 120 (1). In apparatus for forming a mat of fibres, the fibres are discharged in an air stream from a machine 2 into a chamber 6 and are traversed across a rotary suction drum 14 by an oscillating vane 8. The fibres are deposited by drum 14 in lap form on to a conveyer belt 20 forming the bottom of chamber 6 or on to a second lap previously formed on such belt.
