Abstract

802,448. Liquid-dispensing nozzles. FOSTER, J. A. April 17, 1957 [April 20, 1956], No. 12078/56. Class 116 In apparatus for dispensing aerated liquids, a nozzle member 26 is slidably mounted in a housing 23 secured to the delivery conduit and adapted tc be downwardly displaced by the liquid pressure into a glass or other receptacle placed beneath so as to be quickly immersed and reduce frothing. Vents in the base 27 of the housing 23 prevent air pressure building up in the annulus containing the return spring. As shown the parts are of plastic materials, but an alternative embodiment is described in which the parts are of metal and are joined by screw threads.
