835,451. Cartons. CHALMERS, J. W., and MOLINS MACHINE CO. Ltd. Dec. 17, 1957 [Jan. 1, 1957], No. 24/57. Class 18. A rectangular carton as shown has two flaps 14, 15 for closing the open top, the flap 14 being shaped to cover the opening and having tags 16 to enter slits 17 at the join between the narrow flap 15 and the attached side 12 and pass inside the carton. The tags 16 may be stuck with adhesive to the inside of that side 12, and the carton opened, e.g. for franking by means of a slitting knife introduced between the flaps 14 and 15; it may be re-closured by sticking the opposed surfaces of these flaps together. Specification 662,435 is referred to.
