929,893. Plate-type heat-exchangers. C. A. PARSONS & CO. Ltd. Nov. 18, 1960, No. 39755/60. Class 64 (3). The heat-exchanger described in Specification 920,251 is modified by making the side walls la of at least one set of the fluid passages integral with the passage-wall sheets 1, each side wall being formed by turning over one edge of the sheet. Similarly formed side walls (not shown) may also be formed on the corrugated inserts 2. In the other set of fluid passages bounded by flat sheets 3 overlying the sheets 1, the sheets 3 may also be formed with integral side walls 3a. Alternatively, the corrugated inserts 4 in these passages may be similarly formed with integral side walls in which case the sheets 3 may be omitted.
