PATENT OFFICE.
NE\V HAMPSHIRE.
DESIGN FOR A TOY-CAR BOTTOM PLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,157, dated February 7, 1899.
Application filed January 13, 1899. Serial No. 702,111. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HARRY THAYER KINGS- BURY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Keene, in the county of Cheshire, State of New Ham pshire, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Toy-Oar Bottom Plate, of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon.
My invention is a new and original design for the bottoms of toy-car bodies; and the leading feature thereof consists of a toy-earbody bottom of the shape and configuration herewith set up, and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a top plan view, Fig. 2 is an end view, and Fig. 3 is a side elevation, of a toy-ear bottom plate embodying my design.
In the drawings the main portion of the bottom plate is shown as a fiat piece A, which is continuous from the points a to 1), except for the curved projections l 2 adjacent either end and the central projecting part 3. Out side the points (t Z) the flat piece is formed with downwardly-inclined pieces 0 d, curved, as shown, into a step-like resemblance, while the extreme ends of the flat piece A are turned upwardly to form vertically projecting pieces 0.
The essential feature of the design is the bottom plate with the downwardly-projeetiug step-like-formed parts 0 d, to which may be added the upwardly-turned parts 6.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters lutcut, is
The design for a toy-car bottom plate, substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
HARRY TIIAYER KINHSBURY.
