"There's a lot of stigma and shame attached to it, and people don't realise that it's associated with a medication," she says.

He said he also became addicted to medication he was taking to deal with his trauma.

Some people who take the medication say there's stigma attached to using the drugs to lose weight, too, which Alix says puts some people off taking the injections.
