Black Sea fleet receives Katran boat, Skvorets drones

MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. The United Russia party, the Center of Unmanned Systems and Technologies, and Our Truth Fund handed over to the Black Sea fleet Skvorets VMF strike drones, Soroka FPV drones, Talisman video jammers, and Katran uncrewed boat for further tests and upgrades. The naval commando unit received a jet ski from party chairman Dmitry Medvedev, the United Russia said.

"Skvorets VMF was designed on Navy orders. It can be launched from helicopters and jet ski. Katran is a multirole uncrewed boat capable of conducting duty for a long time in an autonomous regime. Soroka FPV drone is equipped with an optical system of target tracking and lock-on and can automatically cross the sections of radio shadow and electronic warfare," head of the central executive committee of the United Russia Alexander Sidyakin said.

"The competences of our residents allow creating advanced control, navigation and video transmission systems. This is the basis of any uncrewed interaction. We shall continue the work together with the Black Sea fleet," he added.

The Center of Unmanned Systems and Technologies was founded by Promsvyazbank and Our Truth. It promotes the launch of important projects for the front and rear and assists in obtaining finances and government support for the best solutions, their production and sales.
