Notice of Preparation of an Environmental Impact Report
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the California Department of Parks and Recreation (State Parks), as the lead agency, is preparing an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed Delta Meadows Park Classification and General Plan Project (proposed project). State Parks has prepared this Notice of Preparation (NOP) pursuant to Section 15082 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines. This NOP informs agencies and the public that an EIR is being prepared to address potential environmental effects resulting from the approval and implementation of the Alameda-Tesla Park Classification and General Plan Project. Additional project information is available at the project website: https://plandeltameadows.com/. Scoping Period: January 15 to February 14, 2025.
Scoping Meeting:
State Parks will hold a virtual scoping meeting at 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025, to provide additional information about the Delta Meadows Park Classification and General Plan Project and EIR process and allow interested parties to comment on the scope and potential environmental effects of the project to be analyzed in the EIR. Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Commission Meeting Postponed
The Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Commission tour of Hungry Valley State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA) scheduled for Wednesday, January 15, 2025, and the Commission meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 16, 2025, is postponed due to the fires burning in LA County.
