Abstract

393,434. Oil engines. ABRAMSON, A., 27, Premyslovska, Prague. Aug. 8, 1932, No. 22233. [Class 7 (iii).] In a two-stroke-cycle engine having a spherical combustion chamber 4 which communicates with the cylinder 1 through an oblong channel 7, the wall of the channel at its lowest part is reduced to a minimum to form a tonguelike structure 8 lying between the combustion chamber and the cylinder. The breadth of the channel is “-<1>/3 the diameter of the compression chamber. The chamber 4 is fitted with a sparking plug 5 and a fuel injector 6.
