Abstract
449,213. R÷ntgen-ray tubes. PIOT, E., 11, Rue Denis Poisson, Paris. Aug. 7, 1935, No. 22333. Convention date, Aug. 8, 1934. [Class 39 (i)] [See also Group XX] A R÷ntgen-ray tube 1, Fig. 2, has a large anticathode 10, in front of which rotates a perforated lead cylinder 11, surround ing the tube. In a modification, Fig. 4, a tube 1 has a rotating anticathode system 14 .with multiple foci 15 and an eccentric elongated spiral cathode 17. The tube is surrounded by a rotating perforated lead cylinder 12.
