Abstract

891,210. Packages; cartons; paper &c. bags. Z'GRAGGEN, W. July 28, 1960 [July 28, 1959], No. 26287/60. Classes 18, 94(1) and 94(2). A package comprises a sealed bag having an inner stiffening member and enclosed in a carton, a portion of the mouth being adapted to form a spout, and being trapped between a side of the bag and the carton lid when the latter is closed. The carton body 2 and the lid 1 are formed from a single blank. The bag has an inner stiffener 5 adjacent the mouth. The sealed upper end 7, 8 of the bag is folded down and portion 10, 12 trapped between the closed lid and stiffened bag wall 6. In use, the sealed end is raised and the portion 12 cut off to form a spout. The bag seal 13 may be of diminishing width to give a greater pouring capacity.
